Like it says on the tin, it's a race bike, but considering the spec, it's feckin' cheap...especially since it will cost nearly 3 grand just to get Stage 3 tuning from RLR. If you've got the cash (and if it's still available) then go for it! ____________________ TiN

Not trying to piss on any fires, but general opinion is that you do need to have done quite a /lot/ of track days before you consider racing. (You obviously may be really good and the next fogarty... never met you so I shan't presume to comment).
While it would be a good race bike, unless you've got loads of money, it would probably be best to start with a cheaper bike for track days. In the end it's your boundries you are trying to push, not the bikes.,, it doesn't mention suspension either.. which for track days at least I would have thought would be amore important quality (though the stock rvf is obviosuly pretty good.)
I've only done 1 track day though, and ride an (ex) race biek on teh road... so feel free to ignore me |

It does seem a fairly good spec for the price.. but there are a lot of a lot cheaper 400cc race bikes for sale, often with lots more bits and bobs as well.If you're going to be /really/ pushing ti you want a bike that you won't mind if you crash or the engine blows up etc |
