Hi,
I'm going to derestrict my NSR soon, and today I've been EVERYWHERE looking for replacement jets, but there's not a bike shop in Cornwall who can get dellorto jets Confused

Can anyone suggest a good website for the parts, and what part numbers I need... the only sites I can find who stock them have about 9 billion different types and I'm getting a bit confused Sad Thumbs Down

Thanks,
Jon

Email dellorto asking for PHBH jets. They should be part numbers 6413 for the main jet, 11600 for the power jet and 1486 for the idle jet. Make sure you add the right size on the end, so a 138 main jet would be part# 6413.138

Cool, thanks, I'll give them a call tomorrow. Strange that nobody stocks the stuff, isn't it? Even asking for the carbon fibre reeds that EBC distribute was met with blank stares from a lot of people...

Cheers,
Jon

I have been recommended to speak to you about some jets for the Honda NSR 125, my friend has told me that i need to rejet my bike when i derestrict it.

He said that i need the following
Main Jet 138
Power Jet 65
Slow Jet 42

Could you tell me how much these will cost plus postage,

Thanks for your help

Hope this helps

do not forget to have a look on your rc valves control unit , some writtings in white are on . you will be fully de-restricted if the writtings are TV-78 , also on your CDI you will be derestricted if you have CI626 . if not , in order to fully derestrict your bike, think about buying these items on ebay because they are quite expensive (around £250 for both) . and i can insure you that i know what i am talking about

Thanks, everyone, very much, I ordered them today. Those part numbers were spot on, thankyou. If anyone else wants to order them, the price was £13.04 altogether, including first class postage Smile

My VIN is ZDCJC22C0YF232007. Is there any way you can tell it's restricted through that?

it's a 2000 bike with UK specs , so no restrictions on electronics . the only restrictions are the exhaust pipe , the intake plate and the underjet carb . easy de-restrictions ! if you've got some money you should go to a race exhaust system such as jollymoto , figaroli , gianelli and others .

Cheers, I wrote that post just after I got back to college having binned the bike, I think about 10 minutes later I just collapsed. Can't remember the crash now, or about 20 minutes after it. Having seen the bike, I think I'll be able to respray the fairing - it's not as bad as my first crash - but it will need a new LHS rearset... lucky it wasn't the exhaust side. Shouldn't be too big a job to get it looking good again, my moped had several resprays...

Thanks, I'll try david silver.

Jon

Just ordered my peg bracket, £60. Could be worse I suppose. Thanks for the offer of help mate, but I had an off on the other side a few months back, and the insurance company had an estimate done, so I've already got all the prices.

Basically all the bodywork I *might* need, is the left hand upper cowl which is £37.05 from my dealer. This was already damaged before the accident, and I've wanted to change it for a while. Oh, need a wingmirror too - the Honda one is £57 Shocked Gotta be cheaper aftermarket ones, surely??

Thanks,
Jon

Yeh, mine came today! Bike's at my dad's garage though until my footpeg bracket arrives from Honda Europe... Got a new screen ordered (it was already broke, just snapped again after the crash, been meaning to replace it for some time).

I need to get wingmirrors ordered... anyone know anywhere I can get an aftermarket set? There's that german motorad site, but I've emailed them and had no reply Sad

Cheers,
Jon

in germany they answer not very often to your mail . the best is to order by fax in english (49) 99 71 - 3 15 44 . write on your name & adress , the number of items and which items you want (with their german name as shown on their site and the price) . then write you credit card number , expire date and the last 3 digits at the back . the fax is much safer than any secure web site and the germans are very professionnal
