Put my RS 125 in the garage today fearing something had seized or it had eaten a piston or something bad, as it was completely fucked last night. the guy in the garage phoned and said it sounded fine and was running fine but he would have another look over it. I mean has my bike got some alien technologie that fixes the engine for you while your alseep or what?

any explanations?

If something was starved of oil and got hot it might have started running rough.
Maybe when it's cooled and your oil's thicker it seems OK again?

You sure the thermostat didn't cut it out? It may have overheated slightly. Check your coolant levels.

When did it cut out on you?

At least the garage was honest enough to tell you it seems fine, i know of some that would of charged you for new piston etc without batting an eyelid
