Anyone had one?

I just want to know some things. Noise/performance/etc

I've heard they help top end a bit and take a bit from the lower end

I've also heard they're loud, is there anything i should look out for?

Leon

I think they look crap on sports bikes, but good on muscle bikes. It's just a trend of current design, a few years and they will be different again

A shorter can usually means there is less back pressure from the engine more so than a race can because there is less baffle. Up the jets if you do get one.

They were very loud so I put the standard exhausts back on for commuting and I lost one of the end caps, doh!

it says this in the racefit exhausts details page

How loud? The can is loud. Only noise suppressor in the headers stops all the noise completely getting out! Want an idea how loud? - Run your bike without an exhaust!

Think they look good on some bikes but not others - depends on the styling/sizing of the surrounding details.

Did you notice any difference in performance compared to the standard length cans?
