Sorry to waste time on this but i have a Hongdou GY125 which is sitting in my garden completely overshadowing my Simson S51 until August when I become 17, i keep the bike covered up but the front disc brake is starting to rust over, is there any way i could stop this happening without compromising my brakes?

Remove the pads and then coat the disc in WD40, just remember to clean it off with some solvent (thinners, brake cleaner or similar) before you put it back on the road, oh and you'll need to refit the pads too Shocked

It ain't nothing to worry about.

When you do finally ride the bike just drag the front brake for a bit (mile or so) and it'll clean itself up Thumbs Up
