I just fitted new bearings to the front wheel of my yzf750 today. I knocked em in using the old bearing that had been ground down a touch on the outer race so it would be a loose fit.
I got then in, the spacer is in place & doesn't rattle about, but when I refit the wheel it doesn't spin freely. It will turn a couple of revolutions at most then stop. Is this right or have I gone wrong somewhere?? |

Sounds to me like you have missed out a spacer or got one the wrong way round (the one shaped like a 'top hat' should have the 'brim' of the hat facing the fork leg).
Could also have put the speedo drive back in wrong so it isn't properly engaged with the hub. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
