Basically, my bike needs a new exhaust and a new paintjob, but i remember a cbr6 sete rep on here that looked the shit.
My bikes a 91 cbr400, and im going to get the race paint done like that too, however i want to get a stubby exhaust on it and possibly get the pipe moved to make it look modern. Also i would like to maybe put a new rear unit on it, i've seen a gsxr k4 rear on one here https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1990-HONDA-BLACK_W0QQitemZ4607223093QQcategoryZ9806QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Basically just looking for advice on what to do, and where to go to make my dream bike!
Thanks in advance, Tom.

ok, search is working for me now, so here is the thread with the cbr rep: https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=49688&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=sete+rep&start=0

Basically i want to know where to start on getting these kinds of things done, not just little tarty bits, but moving where the exhaust is, and different tail end. Any advice, please leave below as i've got work tonight. Thumbs Up
Tom.

Someone must know good companies to recommend, or how i would know if a tail end from a different model would work? Sad

Hi

There are a few people around who can make up exhausts. Maybe Gazelle or OS Stainless could help. Don't expect it to be cheap, and do expect to loose power if the person making the exhaust does not know what they are doing.

All the best

Keith

have you thought of vinyl rather than paint?? Just then you could just rip it all off back to the base colour when you get sick of it, maybe cheaper too, definatley quicker

It's a nice idea, but i'd rather go for the full effect. Also the courrent scheme is black with silver vinyl in parts, and it just doesn't look the finished article.
Thanks.
