Erm, 3600 miles is really not a lot, so I wouldn't worry too much - I would expect a bike of that age to look pretty spotless.

Although everything can be replaced, I'd expect other bits would seem a bit dodgier.
Follow things tend to be done to race bikes:
Lock wiring; sump and oil filler plugs.
Scratched engine casings.
Possible repaired subframe mounts.
Head bearings needing replacing.
Replacement clipons, possibly damaged.
Crash mushrooms that may not be entirely secure.

Especially ones that have been thrown down the track 'several' times Razz

Why do you think it might have been raced?

Oh and the only real detriment I can see in it being raced is the higher miles - and for an r6 that 2nd gear is more likely to be on it's way out.

Race bikes otherwise tend to be kept in pretty good condition.

Not really sure its just ive put more marks on it in 600 miles than it has had in its entire life.

There is a bit of a scratch in the engine casing that looks like it has fallen over but not a mark anywhere else like clutch leaver indicators or any thing.

Also the engine has some wired sounds coming from it. I think it could be the cam chain but not sure, they sound wrong like something I wouldn’t expect of a bike of this milage? and the gear box i quite clunky in first and second.

its probably just me being stuped Rolling Eyes

Thanks JAck
