Ok bikes i guess, not my cup of tea, but it depends on what you want from a bike - just don't expect to set the world alight on one.
Plus they are really really ugly - shame on you Suzuki.

this is my knowledge of them, very limited, basic inline four, all useable power and made to be pretty much as reliable of an everyday workhorse as you can get, will get you to around 130 no probs, but is a bit of a lump, not too agile. Got a '96 model in my college workshop, but it's in pieces and has been bashed about, yet still turns over. I wouldn't expect the bike to let you down.

Supposed to be sound enough bikes I believe, seem to remember that you should avoid one that smokes at all, other than that i think the reputation is good.

They're reliable rather than exciting but if it's cheap enough then why the hell not.

The same motor is in the bandit 600. Gotta be good aint it. Not really a ball of fire and it wont win any beauty competitions but they are a good bike if all you want is a bike.
Oh, just for a laugh you could make a real street sleeper and change the top end for an old GSXR750 Very Happy
