Well last Saturday I finally got my NSR. Got to grips with the gears at the dealers then rode it to Bedford which is 10 miles from the dealers. Got it their then I rode back to Cambridge. Or tried to. 10 miles outside Cambridge the bike suddenly starts jerking about so I click down a couple of gears but it still does it. Then it just dies. I looked in the petrol tank and there's none left. I'd only done 38 miles and the dealer said he'd put half a tank in! So there's me stranded outside Cambride with no petrol. A couple of bikers stoped to see if I was ok which was great but all they said was the nearest petrol station was 1 mile away from where I was. So I called my Mum and she brought some prtrol out to me. But apart from a 50 minute journey taking 2 hours! I'm still well chuffed with my bike. I've just got to wear it in and de-restict it now.

Ermmm, you do know about the reserve tank don't you? Under the fuel tank on the left, there is a little tap thing, with three options; on, off and reserve. You run it normally on the on position, and if you need to remove the tank or annoy someone, you put it to the off position. If your riding, and it goes outta petrol, you put it onto reserve, which is another 20 miles of petrol, to get you to the nearest petrol station Wink

And enjoy the bike Very Happy Very Happy
