Opinions please

Hello guys,

I've been thinking about re-spraying my bike. Had a thought of black through to gold, but also tried red and blue.

Thanks goto MrWoody83 and his skills in Photoshop. Much appreciated!

I'd leave it be unless the paint work is damaged. It always raises doubts in a future buyers mind if something has been re-sprayed, unless it has a theme/race rep type paint job.

top one (blue) is my least favourite,
bottom one (gold) looks a little dated

so red gets my vote, the colour of sports bikes and cars the world over

actually, on second thoughts, I think doing that to a bandit, which is a more modern bike than say a 1990's zzr600 would not do it many favours.
Older bikes tend to have more psychadelic paint schemes, colours fading into others etc.

So I agree with dainese freak, leave it as it is, unless its going to be a race rep esque or maybe some air brushing or other such tarty ness

*shrugs * its your bike, couldn't care less what you do with it, just dont paint it burburry, or pink with fur.... or other tacky ness.

If you want to sell it in the future and the existing paint is OK, don't spray it. INstant 25% depreciation cos it screams 'BINNED', t any potential buyer.

Im all for the Black - Red Fade. I agree the Gold would look kinda dated. but as for future sale etc, i'd better hurry up and get my full licence and u'd better hurry up and get the GSX1400 then im sure'll ur'll know wher to point the bandit :

I think the fade effect looks wrong. I dont know what it is, amateur, dated or maybe just ugly, but I dont like it.

how about going for a block colour of something bright? Maybe bright yellow or orange if you wanna be different.
