I also have a textile suit I bought in July that's crap.

zip has come off
the leather bit in the "crotch" area is unstitching itself
its not very waterproof
jacket and pants lining has torn, unstitched, and generally fallen apart.

I have a bank statement showing the transaction.

Would I be able to swap these for some leathers if I make up the extra do you know? (I understand if you can't answer this on behalf of HG )

A lot of HG textile products develop dodgy zips and start fraying. The leathers are good though, apart form the zips.
