I wouldn't say it's a case of "some people never learn", after all, we carry on riding after we bin it don't we? So why shouldn't he have continued doing what he was happy with once he recovered froom it going a bit wrong (i.e. once his ban was up) ?

I guess the guy's "addiction to speed" definitley cost him his life, but I'd reckon that that's the case for a lot of bikers.

condolences to those who knew and loved him, but as usual the article demonises us. What has a previous conviction got to do with this case? Can it not just be reported as a sad end to a fathers life? I'm sure his young son won't enjoy seeing that article when he is older. What speed was the pug doing? Had it just pulled onto the road in front of him? Do motorists not think we just might go a little bit faster as we overtake only to settle down again once past?

The beeb should give the guys family a break,they are the ones who will grieve the most. Crying or Very sad
