Warped Disk(s)?

I've been out on my TDM and noticed that the front brake isn't quite right. The lever pulses as I pull it in and the whole bike shakes as the brakes grip then slacken over and over.

I first thought it might be the brake pads, but surely they wouldn't make the lever pulse. Is there anywhere that can remove the uneven surface on the disk(s)? Or is it just better to replace the disks? It has twin disks up front and I'm not sure which one is doing it Is there any way to tell? Other than using a micrometer as I don't have one.

Tape a pointer (pencil or similar) to the forks with it's tip near enough touching the disc on the area of the swept by the pads. Lift the wheel off the ground and spin it slowish. Your eye is good enough to see roughly how much the disc may be out or if it's running true, knowing what the acceptable runout is from your manual. Repeat for the other disc.

Is there any way to get the disk, that is warped, usable again? If not then I'll probably get a set of Galfer disks as they aren't much more than a price of OEM disks. I'll also be fitting a set of R1 blue spot calipers and braided hoses at some point. It's not the end of the world, but it is very annoying.

Not really, once a disc is warped it's basically a bin job!

I've found out the left disk has a rim on the outside, but it is flush in some places around the disk. This is why the braking is uneven. It's made even worse by the fact that there is no movement in the front forks. Another thing to sort out
