as my motorcycle wardrobe starts to build up, I was just wondering how many items of bike clothing do you own? e.g. do you have a winter set, summer set, textile set, leathers etc.

here's my list:

1 pair of boots
1 pair of textile trousers
2 textile jackets (winter and mesh)
2 pairs of gloves (winter and normal)
1 helmet with 1 visor

Been thinking of getting some leathers and a new helmet which would add to the collection, but don't know if that'd be too much stuff.

Very nearly a room full.

Hell, I have six helmets of one sort or another (road legal or otherwise). Five pairs of gloves kicking about the place too. Sundry other stuff.

3 pairs of gloves (winter, summer, non-armoured summer)
1 pair of mixed textile/leather trousers
1 textile jacket
1 helmet
1 neck warmer ("inherited" from sister :p)
2 kidney belt or whatever they're called ... very nice when wind blows up between jacket and trousers.

Still need to find a place that sells affordable boots that don't look like I'm heading for the slopes Smile.

Hi

Pretty much with Stinkwheel on this. Too much, although plenty of it is old rubbish to be used in an emergency (old bike waterproof trousers with padded knees are great for working on a car outside in winter without wrecking your knees).

Realistically useable on the bike:-
2 sets of winter gloves
2 sets of summer gloves
2 half decent waterproof jackets
1 pair of waterproof trousers
2 lids
2 pairs of boots.
Couple of leather jackets / jeans / the like.

All the best

Keith
