Nice one guys, cheers for all the comments in the thread before, just read them.

I passed!

I had the guy I really didn’t want in the end, which made me quite nervous, I think I was being too harsh on myself TBH, I shouldn’t have been so uptight. It was a cold morning, having been out for an hour before, but against all the odds I rode impeccably receiving 2 minors one of which was due to poor communication when giving me instructions…..
I had to ride my GF’s pink and white push bike back to the flat but I didn’t give a shi*, I sorted some insurance out, grabbed my keys and left the building.
I’ve been riding over 5 years now, to me this should have been just about getting transport back and being happy because I put in hard work and determination, but as I walked towards the lock up I had ‘that smile’ on my face.
I opened the big iron door of the shipping container, walked around the bike and put the keys in the ignition.

I feel a great sense of achievement doing this, although I feel this new 2 year rule is a little harsh on someone who has broken the speed limit a possible 2-3mph over the acceptable % of mph.

Renew licence after revocation: - £38
CBT: - £120
Theory test, QS [28/30], HP [65%]:- £21
Theory test, QS [35/35], HP [32%]:- £21
Theory test, QS [32/35], HP [59%]:- £21
2 X Lessons: - £114
1 X test (including 1hr lesson):- £76

Total:- £411

Anyways, I’m not going to moan about it now, I’m back on the road.
Happy riding everyone. Wink Thumbs Up

Well done!! Clapping

Just keep an eye on the speed limits as those points you currently have are still there until the end of their normal three year period. You dont want to be getting upto 12 points then a proper ban.

Well done, its obvious you're glad to be back on a bike! Laughing Thumbs Up

(Yes, despite giving you a hard time when you got busted, its not good seeing anyone not able to ride a bike! Wink )

Just keep it rubber side down and keep a check on the happy grip.

One question, now that you've passed again, does the two year rule start from the beginning again? I mean, if you get any more points for anything does it affect you the same way again?

Confused

No, the two year rule is not effective now, just as normal. Rolling Eyes

I must admit hearing “Congratulations, you’ve passed” again, is quite a feeling. Very Happy
I can’t imagine what it would be like hearing the opposite.
I asked my instructor if I did my car test would I get my bike one back as well, he said, no.
The VFR is quite something, I was riding one of the later ER-5 models, compared to the Honda it feels rank. Lol

Happy days.... Karma

Oh and i'd just like to add a big "Fuck you " to the members who said i'd either fail or loose the licence the next day. Wink Thumbs Up

Congratulations.

So - no more points until your 2 years are up, please. Have you found out if you have to do the whole 2 years again?

No, the 2 year rule only counts from your first full licence. He is allowed up to 12, but those points he has already accrued will last for 3 years.

Well done Killa Thumbs Up
