For the money you might be better looking for some in good contition from a breakers, then you can sell the lowers as well and it will proably end up costing the same as haveing 1 fork inner done..

just a thought.

Thank guys for the links & info.

I'll try the hard chrome plating people and check out the cost.

As for secondhand forks very hard to find for this model.

Silly question but have you phoned david silver spares yet, would of been cheaper for me to buy replacement originals from them then it would of been to rechrome. Also they didnt show them on the site but could get them.

I used these clowns, they wrecked my forks. they took fucking ages, they scuffed all the paint on the fork bottoms & they left the sliders unpolished. Their main source of income is from heavy plant equipment, bike forks get put to one side if they get plant hire stuff in.
