Does anyone know if any performance parts are available for My DT ?? Its a 05 / 06 model (not sure which) and its got all sorts of electronic jiggery pokery to help it met euro 2 emissions regs .........

Im thinking exhaust system , induction kit etc , but as the exhaust has a catalytic converter and a gas recirculation hose , would I have to refit the standard pipe to get it through an MOT ??

Any thoughts appreciated

Cheers

Alec

Have you done anything to it de-restriction wise?

If you want to de-restrict it with it being a 05 model, all you need to do is find the green/black behind the front-head light. Pull that out of the block its in, and then (earth) connect it to one of the black wires coming from a indicater! Dont earth it to the frame!

This then de-resticts the p/v and speedo and stops it retarding the revs at 7500rpm. Then the exhaust, in the original theres not really any restrictors but its heavy as its got the cat' coverters init etc. But thats why im getting a full DEP system, as it will save weight etc.

Check here for DEP pipes - www.dirtbikestore.co.uk

Thats it, when all thats done you have got a fully de-restricted DT giving you 'off the clock' speeds Wink
