Give a dog a name!

I've got a bike so the missus has decided she wants a dog, hopefully we will get this weekend so we need suggestions for a name. She doesn't like Duke, Kwak or Suzy, it certainly wont be Beemer!

Zues & apollo are good names for big dogs like Rottweilers & Doblermans (Magnum)

My current dog (Alsation that doesn't grow, you can see from her eyes thats shes very crafty) shes called Jess.

What sort of dog are you after? I like Jack for old looking dogs.

I hope you've actually thought it through, and your having a bike is not the only reason why your wife wants a dog; having a dog is a huge long-term responsibility (depending on breed, they can live up to 15-20 years) and should not be undertaken lightly. You should both be committed to having the dog. Also, please get the dog from either a dogs' home or a registered breeder, not from a petshop.

If you'll be getting a dachshund, obviously he (or even if it's a she) should be called Colin.

Need to see it to decide on a name, random names just won't do for dogs!

My dog was called Tyson before he came to live with me. His previous owner thought it would be cool because he's a staffie cross so a hard name would be appropriate. He's so not a Tyson! Laughing

So now he's called Travis.......

has anyone seen the suzuki advert where the bloke got a new gixxer 1000 and hi mrs made him take de dog for a walk so he takes the dog for a walk on his new bike, with the lead on the handle bars, the see them slowly get to the end of the road and turn a corner where the blokes mrs couldnt see him, and all you head if the bloke open up his new bike and the dog squeel, and to womans face is priceless...
