Jammin nights have only been going for a couple of weeks....so no clique.
Its a new landlord who's trying to get the pub a good name in the music scene in Wakefield.
If you go watch out for a guitar player .....Shaun Sullivan, stunning guitarist who cant read musicand by 'ell he can make the thing talk!!!,its his sister who's the landlady and he sort of organises the music for the pub,so consequently he gets up and plays quite a bit.

Queen,Clapton,Hendrix,Dire Straits,owt with a good guitar riff.

I go there on a weekend night but plan to make it a regular visit on the bike on Thurs nights when it warms up a bit

Quiet you.

I'll have to agree that the prices are high,(80p for a can of f*cking coke!) but it's not sh*t because it's a good place to meet and have rideouts.

Thumbs Up Karma

They could knock the pub down at squires and just use the car/bike park and it would be just as good.............................better in fact!!!

Sun Inn at Fewston nr Otley, just off the A59 is a better pub meet hangout for bikers, good food, terrific roads round there, just watch out for the Scooby doo riding Rozzers.

Tried going over to Hebden Bridge and going on the back Road to Colne, 20 miles of biker only road, amasing, no cars, absolute remote beyond belief.

After hitting Colne, head to Skipton, then Keighley, Halifax, Huddersfield.

Copied from my post last summer.

Basicaly get to Halifax.

In Halifax take the Burnley Road, also sign posted to Mytholmroyd/ Hebden Bridge & Todmorden. This is the A646.

When you get to Hebden Bridge (Nice small town, very arty).

You will see a sign on your left saying for Heptonstall, there is a turning point to your left. ie (you can't signal right from the main road).

So you turn right out of the turning point and then left up the hill, direction marked Heptonstall.

Follow this road, after a minute or two, you will see a road marked Colne. This is a turn to your right.

This road is absolutely gorgeous hardly any traffic at all, the scenery just has to be believed. (its a very thin road and as you can see is hardly mentioned on the maps).

The road is quite thin and in places there is a 200 foot drop (just wide enough for a car).

Believe me on a bike its less of a worry.

Anyway here is the map.

(Ohh when you get to Colne, follow the road up to Skipton thats a
nice blast).
