AutoRoute 2006 By Microsoft

Hi all just wiondering does anyone use this program if so do you have instructions for it.Basicaly im trying to plan a trip from ashford to ace cafe london an im trying to make it do A roads only in the route it comes up with M20 ofr 20 miles but need to get around this.

Also if any 1 would like a copy give me a pm ill be more then happy to burn it to CD an post it to you £43 in the shops or online ill do it for the price of a stamp (You must own the program i will just send you a backup copy )

You can also use the route finders on www.theaa.com and www.rac.co.uk I'm sure they have a tick box for avoiding motorways.

Here is how:

Click "More Options" at the bottom left of the "Route Planner" bar.
Click the "Segments" tab
Click "Preferred Roads"
Click "Preferred Road Types"
Slide "Motorways and limited access roads" all the way to the left

find the place you want to start and it should be under options to set as start or end of your rout,,
you can find most stuff up at the top of rout planner

Truth being m8 i have No Gcse's i cant spell for shit an my punctuation grammer is as poor as a 3 year old.My son who is 2 will be over taking me soon.

Also to the post about taking 4 days yea it said would take me 3 days to get to wales from Kent.In the options when entering the places there is a time so if its set (12.00pm till 16:00) )that means your only wanting to travel for 4 hours.It lets you set how long in 1 day you want to travel.If you think its a long gourney set the travel time to say 12 hours an it will sort it for you
