Well the OH had his beast in the other night to do something in comfort with her now tonight it was my babys turn, only got her in to fit a new tankpad, ended up putting her in the kitchen and cleaning her for two hrs, lol:

Yes I am pleased with my tank pad, I think it was JamieClayton that sent me the link that I will post at the end of this. I was looking for something a bit different and wanted the stinger icon in sticker but unfortunately they dont do them, some nice tank pads mind. Excellent customer service too, a lady named Julie called me, was very polite Thumbs Up

Get some sort of protection (scottoil fs365) on the bottom yoke. As you may see, they rust away very quickly on the hornet. Could use some autosol to polish it up and then coat it with fs365. Thumbs Up

What is this fs365 stuff instigator? The photo actually didnt do the bike any favours, its a lot cleaner and shinier in the flesh!
I have used the autosol on my pipes, they look much better than they did when I got the bike I just need to keep going over and over them to get them up I suppose.

Bullet, you are quite right, I put a stop to the OH's bike coming into the kitchen the other night mainly because I was trying to cook tea but not sure if his monster will even fit as well as mine. After last night he has threatened to try Shocked

just go to deathys H and ask for scottoiler anti corrosion spray , thats the stuff Thumbs Up

cover your bike in it every where you cna get to , advantage of you not having full fairings there.

but don't put it anywhere near your brakes of course Wink

like me you ride in all weathers and i have used the spray from day one and its definately saved my bike over the past couple of years.

i give it a good coating after i've washed it but before polishing!!

As kath has said ^^ get it from your local bike shop, practically everywhere stocks it. Your bike looks nice and clean I wasn't nit pciking, Laughing Just the only real corrosion problems hornets seem to suffer from is the bottom yoke gets corrodewd a lot quicker than the rest of it. Smile Thumbs Up
