Make sure your rims are nice and clean/dry. Peel off rimstripe from backing tape, place one end loosely in position and carefully run the rest of the tape around the rim, not pressing down too hard until it's in place. Rotate wheel to fit the next section, only overlap by a mm or 2 and apply the next strip. Repeat until complete.

Yeah and make sure that you keep the placement of them continuous: ie- if you start off with them closer to the inside edge of the rim, then keep them at the inside edge all the way round- dont move them closer to the tyre.

You know the reel's of sticky tape??? Can you not remove the inside of one and then use that as a guide while spinning the rim???

I just used the outer 'lip' of the rim as a guide. Funnily enough, I'm still not sure whether they suit my bike Confused

Put your bike on a treadmill or if your an im-mortal tuner on a dyno, set it going so that both wheels are turning and just hold the reel or tape still against the rim. Job done. Just watch your fingers!

Arrow Use Metholated Spirits to clean your wheels. A.K.A. Paint Brush cleaner.

Arrow Make sure your not in a dusty area

Arrow Damping your rims with a skoosh water so that if your first line up isnt correct the water will allow you to remove it untill the water drys up. Dont over wet it though or your in trouble.

Good luck.

Stu Thumbs Up

Why do you bother posting? The stickers come curved, and flat they're not on a roll they're on a sheet of backing.

And even if they did, who the fuck would put their bike on a dyno to place it! Just stick your bike on a paddock stand/centre stand, apply a bit, move the wheel round, apply some more. Job jobbed.

I used a roll of car 'pinstripe' tape.

Just make sure the roll of tape is nice and warm,as it helps when the tape is flexible when trying to bend/shape it round the wheel-rim.

By using the 'car' stuff you get a wider choice of tape designs.

John.

Use it straight off the roll,do the rim in one piece, just make sure you've had it on a radiator for a couple of hours as this softens the tape and makes it much easier to work with.

Just take your time as it can be fiddly, the hardest part is doing your first rim,it'll get easier from then on.
