HJC Helmets

Hi there

Being looking at getting a HJC AC11 Shiva Lid. However, they have now been discontinued. Shame!

Does anyone know what the successor is to the AC11 and if it's out yet, how much, how good etc....?

If not, I'll go with the HJC FG-14 which appears to be pretty good unless anyone knows otherwise!!

I believe its the FG14 as it too is also made from composite materials, fibreglass being the main form instead of other composite fibres. HJC lids do fit nicely and i've been wearing my AC10 for just over two years. Not too bad, but i've dropped it many a time.

my first lid was a HJC was a little heavy but was a very good lid would buy one again

One of my helmets is a FG14 which replaced my CS12. No problems with it at all. Good fit and not too heavy. Personally I think its always worth trying the helmet on, its surprising how different helmets from the same manufacturer can feel.

i have an AC11 and its quite a good lid, got a black visor for it and it looks mean, only problem i have found is that the paint seems to chip quite easy other than that its sound
