Quite nice for a scootay, newer model speedfight is nicer than the old ones.

Nice enough scootay, but I'm loving the Ducati. Very Happy Really coming around to these trailie touring things. Especially since I'm larger and taller than most, and they're so huge!

Parts availabilty for a scooter is tremendous, and compared to that of a 50cc bike, much cheaper too

I started on a 100cc speedfight 2 in "prost" colours.

Nice example. however you should paint that exhaust up with ultra high temp paint. Thumbs Up stop it getting holed with rot.

yeh its bin a good scooter so far not really had any major problems with it and the things that did go wrong were covered underwarranty. not the best customer service but thats because the garage i got it from dont really have a clue. but so far im quite happy with it. tbh theres not that much difference between most 50's but i thought that this was a better looking one thats why i went for it Thumbs Up

how much does that paint cost and where can i get it from dodsi?

VHT paint can be had from Halfrauds, B&Q and pretty much any car parts place or garage.

Agree with dodsi about spraying scooter exhausts, it's good practice just to stop them rusting through Thumbs Up You can also use BBQ paint, which is usually the same stuff but cheaper - comes in silver or black. One of my project/wheely mopeds had an arrow exhaust which was about to start blowing, but the paint made it last at least until I sold it Razz I did have to weld a lawnmower manifold onto it though, after it snapped at the downpipe when I went over some speedbumps a little quick.

Nice looking bikes, mate Thumbs Up

painted the exhaust now so it looks good Thumbs Up it was engine enamel paint heat proof up to 650degrees is this the right stuff because it says thats its for water cooled engines but surely it wont make a difference on an exhaust?
