As per title, I'm looking to change from 1st to 2nd during a burnout... How would i go about this? I don't want to fubar the selector fork.

while at the redline just jump on the gear selector like it was a kickstart, sorted Cool

Just do it as normal, as long as the tyre is spinning quick enough you won't stop.

yeh just do it as normal, use the clutch if you want, completely up to you.

and whoever said jump on the gear selector needs a slap, he's already in 1st, jumping on it would bend his gear selector

keep full revvs, and make sure the wheel is spinning fast enougth, then slip the clutch and change then as fast as possible slip the clutch back in. should work Thumbs Up Mr. Green

Best is doing a 180 burnout at the traffic lights so you turn to face the car behind you. Cool

Since no-one's mentioned it... should be okay to do it without the clutch - just snap the throttle shut, click into second and then wind it open again, same as clutchless shifting when riding.

Thats probably the best method. If you pull the clutch in the rear will probably stop spinning as nothing is driving it & there is tremendous resistance against the tyre.

Quickly Wink.

I clutchless shift, shouldn't need to let off the power off fully so it'll keep spinning. Obviously make sure you're at pretty near peak power when you do - not sure how well this weill work if you're trying on a 125.
