I recently purchased a second hand akrapovic full system from ebay. I'm unsure whether the full system is titanium or stainless, any ideas how to tell?

Also Im missing all the exhaust srpings (12 are needed) and one of the exhaust clamps/flanges where it goes into the engine. The remaining flanges have this code stamped into them: FHR 6

i have contacted the UK importers for Akrapovic (performance parts) and they have quoted me over £18 for the one missing flange!!! they also want £5.30 for each spring the thieving cnuts.

I also need a rivet strap for the race can as one of tehm is badly damaged, where can I get a generic race can rivet strap from?

Any ideas where else I can get the parts from at a muich better price?
Also they said they would have to order the flange in and may take a month!!!

Ive noticed theres some exhaust springs on ebay yes, hopefulyl they will do the job. If anyone can confirm the unstretched length of an akrapovic spring for me that would be helpful.

If youve seen rivet straps on ebay can you send me a link? ta.

Thats a bsau number one, obviously you can file/polish the bsau mark out very easily. Thumbs Up Or you can email the seller and just request blank straps.

Here is more than you ever wanted to know about the magnetic properties of stainless steel.

All the best
