who wants to bet that he does the bulk of it by tracing over a projected image? Hence the single-viewpoint-for-it-to-work? andon a computer too - originally done with a CAD or similar program for the initial basic structures? Hence the dodgy freehand stuff like ex PM Major?

I doubt it. I bet it's all freehand, the reason that Major doesn't look spot on is because you're likening him to the real John Major so obviously it's not going to be a spot on drawing. You'd struggle to get it spot on on paper nevermind a section of pavement. The reason why that's the only one that you say has 'dodgy freehand drawing' is because... well qute frankly when was the last time you saw a creature like some of his others walking down the street... Laughing

I saw something like that on the southbank once and was startled by the sheer detail of it - plus his abundance of chalk pastels - i very much doubt that its photoshopped!
