Hi I bought an alarm off ebay it has all mod cons:

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8032685529&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMERFB%3AIID&rd=1

My m8 reckons its not worth putting on because of a) the hassle and b) it will only wear down my battery and 3) he can walk off with my bike under his arm lol.

What do you boys think - be a shame to waste over £40 on something in my eyes considering I am skint. However I don't feel I can do the job on my own. I do have the wiring diagram for both the alarm and the bike but dont know what to do and whether my regulator?? can hold it.

My bike is a Cagiva Supercity. Hope you can help.

Dave

I'd say Your mate is probably right about it draining Your battery .

If You think Your bikes going to get nicked , just get a good disc lock and a chain and chain it to something sturdy.

If only I knew how and where to chop and reconnect wires I would probably give it a go. There are a fair few parts to this thing lol. It even has remote start. Wiring definitely looks mad Smile
