Hi,
Boring post but wanted to say it anyway.
I ordered some oil, filter and drain tub at the weekend from the Busters website, on a next delivery thinking I'd get it on Tuesday.
Phone call on Monday saying the oil was out of stock, and he didn't know when it would be in again
Credit where it's due, in that they did call to inform me of this. I've used Busters over tha last few years for stuff and always had a great service.
Kind of feel mislead on this one - I ordered on the pretense that the stuff was in stock, but it wasn't, and the website did not state this. I usually always just ring them and order, but thought I'd use the website this time.
If I had rung them up they would've lost the sale and I'd have got off my lazy arse and gone to Halfrauds to buy the oil, but that would mean needing to travel 40 miles, paying fuel costs and paying more for the oil in the first place. And Halfrauds don't sell the oil filter anyway
However, they refunded me the postage costs and are going to send it FOC when it comes in. That's a saving of £7.50
Hope it turns up in time to service the bike before the Scottish bike show on the 12th March!!!
for phoning me informing it was out of stock
for always providing a good service
for not stating that the product was out of stock on the website
for still taking my money and not giving me the option to cancel the order ____________________ Past: Honda NSR125R >> Kawasaki ER-5a2 >> Kawasaki ZZR-600e1 >> Suzuki GSXR-750Y >> Honda VTR 1000 Firestorm

I know what you mean. Ordered a scorpion can for my bike from M&P only to get and email saying 'sorry we are currently out of stock -10-14 days for delivery' Why cant they update the website to say no stock. Suppose i'll just have to wait now since they were the only ones who catered for my bike that i could find. ____________________ Cbr1100xx blackbird gone, mk4 golf gt tdi chav now

I still get problems ordering stuff when I'm there in person. Went to Mickey Oats in Glasgow and picked out a Powerbronze screen from their catalogue, paid my money and left. Turned up the next week to collect it and the guy handed me a Zero Gravity screen What the hell is that I asked. He said that the Powerbronze screens took too long to get so he's only ordering these ones now. Cheeky git! He could have told me at the time, or even called me. Told him to jam it. ____________________ Past >>>> Honda NSR 125 >>>> Suzuki GSXR 600 K1 >>>> Suzuki GSXR 600 K4 >>>>Kawasaki Z1000 DAF >>>>Suzuki RMZ 250 >>>> Current >>>> KTM Superduke R 1290 >>>> |

I have used both Busters and M & P and no probs, I guess not everything always runs smoothly does it, we are all allowed to make mistakes now and again arnt we I would order from them both again without a doubt and no others that do to ____________________ Live on the Isle of Wight and ride a CBR600F |

Nb,
Try www.cansrus.co.uk as they list your bike (I assume the Suzuki in your avatar) and usually carry good stock. They seem pretty cheap too. |
