urgent alarm help!

ay up people, i have a datatool veto evo alarm system fitted to my bike and for some reason it keeps setting itself off, i keep reseting it and about 2 minutes, after its re-armed it triggers again, i have tried putting the alarm into service mode by pressing the triangle button, still no luck.. any ideas? cheers in advance Thumbs Up Mr. Green


edit: i have taken the bike off the center stand and put it on the side stand 10 mins ago, it hasnt triggered again yet

av you tried resetting it? both buttons together?

Ahh, yours does the same as my busa (whilst on it's center stand) used to do, the alarms seems to sense the sidestand is up and trigger the alarm quite randomly.

I found I just left it either on it sidestand or on the center stand with the side stand down. The only way other way I could do it was to disconnect the sidestand switch, but wasn't really worth it.

I had the same problem when I got my current bike: it would auto-arm and on the side stand it would trigger, but not on the centre stand. Just changed the position of the motion sensor and no more problems. Mine was the Veto rather than the Veto Evo.

Also, anyone reading this, if you have any problems with your Datatool alarm, give the guys at Datatool's Tech Support team a call. They are really helpful and don't car if you weren't the one that bought the alarm. One of them even posted out a photocopy of an out of print manual for me. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
