Anyone been to this? Looks wicked, 10-20,000 person beach party.
On an island off thailand called ko phangan.
Trying to sort out where we are going now as the trips getting closer and want to know if its worth going to. We have decided to fuck backpacking you can stay in 5 star hotels for like £20-£30 a night.

Looks like one killer party. |

I haven't been but I have seen something on Telly about Full Moon Parties in Thailand and they look pretty good - I went to a Full Moon Party in Ibiza but on a much smaller scale but it was very good - the atmosphere was really friendly and chilled ____________________ Ride with the music! |

I know about the drugs so we will avoid them and am always told by my parents about havin sex with lady boys.
South East asians don't really float my boat anyway. I don't wanna come back with aids either. |

Went backpacking in Thailand a few years ago for 6 months. Absolutely awesome!! Koh Tao is excellent for diving and when I was there they only had electricity for 2 hours a day but all the bars have there own generators. Hardly any police there and the grass is definately greener Koh Phan-gan is the place to party and Samui is (was) much more commercial. Apparently theres a McDs there now and plenty of lady boy bars. The whole experience blew me away. I will go back one day....
Recommend the mushroom omelletes and shakes too ____________________ Ducati 996 |

We have been warned about the skunk but surely a crafty smoke in the sea won't harm anyone. |

yeah, be careful about getting too messy at the full moon parties. Two of my mates went last year and pete fell asleep on the beach, woke up in the morning to find a kidney missing......
Only joking, he found his wallet had been nicked though. So just be careful. They also bumped into a guy we know from manchester who has been out there for a couple of years. He was " Just off to steal some handbags" from the beach.
Charming. |
