Has anyone here got a blackberry device on O2?
We just got a second hand one off ebay & we're having a nightmare trying to get it connected. We only want it for data, not voicecalls. We were told we needed a data contract, but the O2 shop wont give you a sim only contract. We ended up getting the sim with a free phone, which was great, except the sim wont connect in the blackberry.
Girlfriend has spend about 5 hours on the phone to O2 trying to sort it but they just pass her from pillar to post until you are back where you started!. No one seems to know. anyone here got any ideas?? Question

I've set up and configured a Blackberry server and handsets before on the Vodafone network. It was a real pain in the arse to say the least. It was an internal company server with Voda connectivity. How are you connecting, are you connecting to your own server?

Probably not much help to you but the support from all of these providers is useless. They are only worth talking to if you know what you want/need and are telling them not asking for help.

Blackberry are in the process of being sued for stealing the technology so I wouldn't invest too much in it! Wink
