We were told a while back from our security people at work to be very wary if you use Google Desktop 3 as it would seem to copy data to Googles servers for 30 days.

We've added it as a prohibited file via the antivirus server, so can't be ran anyway.
Have blocked google earth also as people spend all day surfing instead of working!
