Get in loads of practice doing U turns. It's a big area for people failing. ____________________ Past >>>> Honda NSR 125 >>>> Suzuki GSXR 600 K1 >>>> Suzuki GSXR 600 K4 >>>>Kawasaki Z1000 DAF >>>>Suzuki RMZ 250 >>>> Current >>>> KTM Superduke R 1290 >>>> |

Just do what the instructor tells you and you'll pass easily |

Just enjoy it. It's likely to be the best few days of riding in your life, no one ever forgets what it's like when you pass.
I would get up early and ride a while before each day started, and I rode around all evening after the day was done. I slept very little during the 3 days I did, and was so wired after my test I had a huge lump in my throat when told I had passed. All the way back to the riding school I was yelling at the top of my voice in my helmet.
If I was doing it again, I'd ride all the usual routes over and over. Just to familiarise yourself with junctions, road layouts, no-entry roads etc. Don't get too hung up on the U-turn. The other guy who was doing it with me had never ridden a bike before, and did it perfectly every time. I had spent the previous 6 months constantly practicing, and was so nervous the first time I did it, I went too slow and rolled over
6 months later I won the 'Ride' U-turn competition though |
