Take note of your CBT and once passed DO NOT sit in the kerb or cycle lane's to allow car's to overtake better.

Use up your lane properly and effectively, it will be safer for you this way.

I would advise ride aggressively at all times, just following on from what Reuben said! When i say aggressively I dont mean shouting and swearing at people and kicking cars as they go past Wink

Im still on L Plates (Well not really took them off as soon as i bought my baby) and I always tend to follow the line of the right hand tyre of the car in front, that way it allows me to see and be seen more easily and also have a better view of overtaking opportunitys! Very Happy

Be safe and do not let other mugs (cages or big bike summer warriors) intimidate you, hold your line on the road. You pay sodding road tax. Just have fun and learn the basics then hopefully do your test and get a bigger bike. Or get a 125 cc use that for few years. Your choice. Good luck and have fun, summers not far off Thumbs Up

Doh!

It feels safer when you ride aggressive, it allows you to have more space and time when riding in the urban jungle Thumbs Up

I found that to be the best part of getting a bike, parents can't drive anymore through illness, and i was always relying on trains and alike to get around, i live 9 miles away from my college and friends! Scooter was a god send. Very Happy
