Might be running down blockbuster in a sec and am in the mood for some kind of horror film.

Can anyone recommend any decent films that are actually scary not amusing?

Also out of interest, could you recommend any kind of film that has really made an impact with you, that you would suggest anyone watch? Your favourite film, basically.

Might be a bit late now if you're back from blockbusters but Wolf Creek is quite horrifying if the last film was no good for you.

It's not scary in the sense of the traditional horror film, it is more like witnessing something awful - torture scenes the lot. It's shot in that 'documentary' style wobbly camera which gives it a bit of an edge as well.

I don't usually like horror films and the few I've seen are all the same but this one worked on me.
