I belive that the 'Creative Launcher' is a power bar that gets install with the Creative Labs sound card drivers, and is generaly nothing more than a waste of space.
If you have a Creative sound card then I would suggest re-installing the drivers/software, that should sort it. If you don't then try un-installing it.
Hope that helps Smile

Try uninstalling your sounblaster live/audigy software and then see if it happens again. Then reinstall it and try again.

Get rid of Creative crap - it's a shame really as the cards are good but software is shit!!!

Uninstall and reinstall is the best option.

or you could go into the registry and remove the startup key to the program, but prolly best to do that only if u know your way around regedit.

Correct me if I'm wrong Al, but isn't the OS in that image 2K?
If so, then what guest said won't work. MSCONFIG was removed after 98 if I remember correctly. Smile

Uninstall/Reinstall would be your best bet.

Come on zimma you should know thats win98 from the style of the buttons in explorer and the my computer icon ?!?! Open msconfig by typing it in the run prompt and stop the system from trying to run creative launcher at start up or you could just reinstall the creative software, i would recommend you do this.

If I remember rightly, in Win XP/2k, you can access the same kinda thing as MSCONFIG through System Information.

Not entirely sure though, can't remember, too busy working on a remix Smile
