PARTY!

A certain member of this forum (MrsHippy) hits the big 30 this year, so to celebrate the fact we are holding a bit of a birthday bash at our place over August bank holiday (3rd Aug) weekend. I know it's the weekend after the R & B, but as her birthday is on July 30th it's the logical weekend to hold it.

The idea is to make a bit of a weekend of it, starting on the Friday, with the main bash being on the Saturday night and finnishing on Monday, with people coming and going as they are able to/feel like.

It's going to be held at our place, which is 10 miles from J17 M4, directions to follow to those who want/need them. There will be floor space available, but you might want to bring some bedding/a sleeping bag.

Food will mainly consist of BBQ stuff (meat etc.), and there will be alchohol (bringing a bottle will still be a good idea). If there are enough of us I may even arrange a ride out to the 'Red Lion' in Avebury on the Sunday (the local meet).

So, if you fancy sampling the Hippys hospitality then please say on this thread (so we can arrange extra accomodation if needed). I know a lot of you will be busy and others don't like us enough to want to party with us, but hey - it's a party!

Well we should be removing a couple of the fence panels between us and next door who have a good garden so there should be no issue of room as long as the weather holds. We have beds / floors available in 1 possibly 2 local houses.

I will talk nicely to next door on the other side and make sure that there is plenty of bike parking available.

Anyone who wants to arrive early and help with furnature shifting would be welcome!

We will remind everyone a cople of times closer to the time but put it in the diary Very Happy
