It's quite a true statement as I've come to understand. I've been looking at some of my old posts around the time I passed my test, and bought the SV. Around that time, I have discovered that I prefered the looks of the pointy. This has come as quite a shock, as I cannot remember ever liking the pointy over the curvy. This means that owning and loving the bike has actually erased my memory previous to ownership, and had brainwashed me into believing I always wanted a curvy model.
Take partners. I was discussing this with Mim today. What kind of person would send naked pictures of their partner into readers wives, superbike and all the rest of it? They're (usually) always munters. Do these people not realise this when they are trying to show off their missus? Have they been brainwashed in the same way as m'bike has me?
One man's junk is another man's gold, just like one man's moose is another man's Venus.

When you were talking about "pointy" and "curvy", I thought you were already referring to readers wives
...which was actually the main incentive for me continuing to read the rest of the post ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N
