How are you trying to hold them? Using your 1st and 4th finger's is easiest.

Bar chords for Teen Spirit. Hold the F-pattern, then it's 1st, 6th, 4th, 9th on the fret board, from memory. From what I understand by "power chords", it would be the same principle but only playing the first three strings. Does that make sense to anyone but me?

For guitar tab, I always used to google OLGA folowed by the band I was looking for. A while back, Shaun posted a torrent link for Guitar Pro 4, which is genius and has replaced my online searching.

First song I learned was "Come As You Are". Two-string plucky genius.

"About a Girl" came swiftly after. Two-chord strummy genius.

Mmmmmmm, Nirvana.

1st song I learnt was "Good Riddance (Time of your Life)" by Greenday.

2nd was "Traffic" by the Stereophonics.

3rd was "Could Have Lied" by the Chilli Peppers, including both guitar solos!

I was a student and had a lot of time on my hands. Very Happy
