Anyone from the area and got any decent places when a group of us should head when we visit?

Which are the better nightclubs/late bars etc for the end of teh night?

Any places to avoid like the plague?

if it's the weekend, Fez Club is good for later dancing. if you want somewhere chilled, and funky check out La raza for drinks. (both right in the center)

somewhere that's in between a club and a bar is Light bar on Regent St

the Junction is a cracking venue, but a bit out of town center, at "cambridge leisure" which is where the cinema and bowling and stuff is.

when you coming up? I work in cambridge, but live in St Neots

Yes, basically Cambridge in it's entirety.....

All the really good pubs etc are now apparently trendy shithole theme places.

You could always visit the SnowCat in Arbury.... you're bound to get some excitement there, in fact you may well be the center of it... Wink

Cheers Feef.

Will be going there Saturday the 29th of April, Its actually a stag do in the loosest possible sence.
I had a full weekend sorted in Edinburgh but the people bitched at the £80 price tag for paintballing, go karting and VIP access to a nightclub and private room for us to come and go with as we pleased.
As such we're now going to Cambridge. Hey ho.

I beg to differ... there IS the Rat and Parrot, and All bar ONE and the like, but they are in the minority. Last count, I think there were over 150 pubs in cambridge, and the majority are NOT theme pubs (although not all of them are good, granted)

depends if you want a quality pub, or a good night out too..
