Ok, this is the first time i have delt with paypal, i need help. The guy who bought my bike has paid through paypal so i had to register and i gave all my bank details and everything, then it said transaction complete? Does this mean that it goes straight into my bank account or do i have to do something else to get it from paypal? Also it has taken nearly 60quid of me for god knows why?? I am baffled about what is going on with my money and any help will be great.
Thanks guys!!!!

Does the money show in your PayPal account? If so, withdraw it. If not, it ain't there.

You click 'withdraw', in 'My Account'. Then follow the instructions - putting in your bank details and so on.

It's very simple if you actually read the instructions. All the security checks are for your own good if you think about it.

paypal rocks but you just have to remember to tell people to add 5% if they want to pay with it

Thats why most people register with paypal long before using it, otherwise it would be very easy to use someone elses details.

i have been ripped out of 300 pounds before now, make sure you really do trust the person before sending money! Once you have sent it there is no way of getting it back, what is there to guarrentee they send you the goods?

Nothing at all Sad

I trade on eBay right. So I am speakin from experience.

If the person sending you has an unconfirmed address, and you send the item to them. If they say they never recieved the item, paypal direct debit your account to pay him/her back their money. So MAKE SURE YOU TRUST this person.

Why didn't you ask him to do a cash advance, put it into his account, and then transfer it to your bank? Or give you the money?

Anyway, good luck.

Oh by the way, you have to upgrade your account to 'premier' account, and paypal will charge you 3.5% to recieve credit card payments. So if it was a £1000 transaction, you would be out of pocket by £35. It also takes 7-10 days for it to appear in your account.
