Is the vibration constant from start up. From cold.
You nkow your not ment to take is past 5'000 to 6'000 when its cold.
Once the bikes warm does it go away.
what oil are you using?

Was there a large weight difference between the 125 and 150 pistons?

If so, the extra weight has thrown the engine out of balance.

To fix that you need to machine material off the balancer shaft, if nsrs have them, or re balance the crank by drilling holes in it.

Good luck.

Hi

From reading this the engine has started to vibrate after having the big bore kit fitted for a while

First thing to check is are all the engine mounting bolts tight

After that check for wear in the main bearings (take off alternator cover and feel for any vertical play in the crankshaft)

After that time to take the engine to pieces and have a look

If the vibration started when you fitted the kit then I suspect you have done something wrong reassembling it. Maybe put the piston in back to front?

All the best

Keith

Hi

Can happen Zim, they normally have an arrow on the top pointing to the exhaust port. Generally the gudgeon pin is not central in the piston, so putting it in the wrong way round throws everything way out (if you dont snap the rings on the exhaust port first)

All the best
