chain oiler won't be worth anything more on the value of the bike.

i'll give you 20 quid for it tho.

Market price would probably suggest something in the £2k+ range, but there so many 2001 NSRs going for about £1500-£1900 nowadays Confused Having said that, if you're not totally desparate to sell, then you can probably get more than £2000 for it.

But it can also depend on which area of the country that you're in. Demand/supply varies in each region, and some people have no possible means of transporting a bike over a particular distance (ok, so there are bike couriers nowadays, but they cost extra money).

You weren't the silly person to buy it were you Wink Very Happy
(j/k scoobstar) Smile

£2k+ seems reasonable to me. Especially if it has been well looked after Smile
As Tin said, if you aren't too rushed to sell it you could more than probably get over £2k Smile

Any thoughts on what bike you are getting next?

Oh, welcome to the forum! Smile

over 2k?

but isnt it brand new for like 2800?

I thought that it was £2999?

Anyway, brand new isn't always what it's cracked up to be...for instance, you need to run it in for about 500-1000 miles, then bring it in for a quick service (usually under warranty), and I think that another service is due at about 2500 miles or something.

Buying a used bike means that this stuff should have been done already (but you need to read the ad/contact the seller to confirm), and any problems should have already appeared and sorted out.

Also, you tend to lose at least £500 off the value of your bike as soon as you take the new bike home, but depreciation is usually kinder if you buy second hand.
