Hey guys,
My mate just bought an NSR125 that's factory restricted. The one I had was carb and exhaust restricted but this came brand new with the CDI restricted to only let it rev to 7,000. I read before that swapping the CDI units doesn't necessarily work that there's something else that needs to be done?! So what do you have to do to make it full power? I Can't seem to find any threads on it and im sure its already been asked a million times 
Any help would be appreciated so much!

Look at www.nsr125.com
It lists all the possible restriction techniques. May be a throttle stop aswell as the cdi?
