Reason for leaving job

I'm filling out an Application form for a new job but i'm stuck for the bit that asks "Reason for leaving/wishing to leave"

Now the real reason i want to leave is its shit and crap pay but i cant think of a good way of saying it other than "its shit and the pay is crap"

Any suggestions? even if its something completely different

Make sure that when you do come to leave, inform whoever you are asking to be your referee your reasons for leaving as well.

They will be asked that question to make sure it matches what you have said... so tell them you want to 'progress' and develop your skills further etc.
