My CBR125R

Well had her since thursday

Now im going to be honest I really did not want a CBR125R, I thought my god a 4 stroke, its guna be slow, sluggish and not very practical.

But then I had a go on my mates and I was swayed, i thought maybe I got it all wrong and its actually a good little machine.

And then I saw a CBR going at my local bike shop and it was second hand i thought fuck it, ill take the gamble.

Anyway after having it a few days Ive grown to love it more and more.

I know its not the fastest 125 out there, but i didnt get it for the speed, i got it purely to get to work and back, and to have a bit of fun at the weekends. Its plenty fast enough for me to learn on, and gets used to biking, oh and its cheap.

I paid £1400 for it, its an 04 model, 310 miles on the clock, 1 years warranty and 1 years AA breakdown cover

Looks nice.

I didn't really like them until about 2 days ago, a friend bought a brand spanking new one and I had a little trundle on it. Have to say, it looked great and sounded good and I was impressed with it generally.

At that sort of price I don't have nearly as many objections to such a bike. However I hope some people can see why we are against buying new... when the value drops that much after a few hundred miles .

I saw them going round Donington the other week, I was doing the Ron Haslam school on the CBR600rr. amazing day. but the little cbr125 sounded alright with a micron can on there.

I've got nothing against them, so long as you buy one knowing its not going to be fast, and you don't pay over the odd's their a good little bike.

Think of it as a brand new CG with a fairing and you wouldnt be disappointed.

£1400 is cheap for such a new bike! looks like you've for yourself a great deal!

hi guys, basically im looking on buying a cbr125, im just wondering whats the average top speed you can get out of one, standard and de-restricted as i know there not the fastest 125's

Very nice looking bike an for £1400 im sure you couldn't of gone very wrong .Ive seen few on ebay in recent times not so nice for a little more.

Just look after it an hopefully your get what you paid or very close to it when you come to selling it on

i still think its ugly though at the front and should've been styled on a real cbr(2006 cbr6-cbr thou').
would love to race one though! im still sure i could put up a fight!!
