NSR is slower but more reliable and easier to find parts for.

RS is faster and not as reliable and parts are usually more expensive and less frequently found.

Test ride em both if you can to have a feel and it's down to insurance too. Really shouldn't be very little between the two. If you want to compromise, buy two of them, chop them in half. You can have the front half off the Rs125 and rear end of the NSR - a kinda like bike cut and shut Razz. That'll stop people trying to wonder between the two.

I've ridden an NSR125 and it does feel nice and does have the grunt but the RS is nicer to look at. Parts aren't really an issue for both as you can always find websites like www.wemoto.com for parts of either bike - general consumables, and if you're up to scratch with your servicing and maintenance, an RS will just be as reliable as an NSR. Best to check what oil's been running in the engine and use the same type.

I've been seeing typical examples now of 98-99 RS's and NSRs for about 1300ish - about 10000 miles.

But my biased opinion will be GET A DT125 Supermoto or XR125 and learn to stunt on it. It's much better than going faster.
