Hi Folks! Wink

I'm sure the info is on the forum somewhere but can't be bothered to look so far back.... Embarassed

Could anybody give me advice/tips/link to site on the process of repairing and spraying my fairings as they have seen better days!? If I had the money, I would just replace them but thought maybe I could sort them out myself:cry:

I crashed on a right-hand bend today so need to do some serious patching up!!! Embarassed

Cheers
Thumbs Up

its not hard. all you need to remember is the preporation is key. if you think something is sanded. sand it more.

use fine grade sand paper and sand between caots.

marsk of andything you dont want paint on,

use lots of light coats.

take your time.

let them harden for a good few days before putting them back on

hope this helps?

Cheers. Thumbs Up

What's the very first thing you have to do when you remove a panel (apart from clean it), get to it with sandpaper type stuff? Or do you have to remove decals/paint first, somehow. What are the essential items? Confused
